Although he's Played all types
of music, DJ BLUE is currently specializing in Hip
Hop.
D.J. Blue started his dee jay career in the
clubs of New
York City in 1979. He started as a club dancer
but didn't like the
way the D.J.'s mixed the music. It seemed
like they were playing what
they wanted to hear and not what the
dancers wanted to hear. So
one day he was hanging out at the famous
New York club The
Garage and the d.j.(Larry Levan)said "hey
play a few for me" and he
did. 2 weeks later he was spinning there.
And from that day on he's
been mixing it up. D.J. Blue has done
movie premiere parties,
worked for The Trump Organization, was
the d.j. for a number of
years in Central Park for the world
famous dance skaters
association, and the d.j. for Wollman
Rink in Central Park for 8
years. So this guy knows about mixing.
